Judo Sensei  –

Kenny Buckland

Kenny Buckland competed at a national level and has been involved in the sport since 1980, studying Judo at Shin-Gi-Tai Judo Club under Olympian Sensei Piotr Renik and Sensei Shuji Miura (Nanzan University, Japan Sensei), and later serving as Sensei Renik’s Assistant Instructor at Arizona State University.  Currently Kenny teaches Judo, Wrestling and Grappling at USA Storm Arizona and is also an instructor at Southwest Judo Academy in Tempe, Arizona.  Below are some of Kenny’s accomplishments and certifications:

Strength and Conditioning Coach –

Nathan Maxcy began to pursue knowledge in strength and conditioning training with the “Bigger Faster Stronger” Program.  During college while competing in football and track he started specializing in plyometric training to build stronger, more explosive athletes.  After college Nathan competed in Semi-Pro football in Arizona while also competing in football combines for the Arena Football League and the Canadian Football League.  Nathan then worked as a Strength & Conditioning Trainer for “Next Level Sports Performance” training, High School, College, and Professional athletes.  Nathan is currently a Firefighter and Wellness & Fitness Coordinator for the City of Maricopa Fire Dept.
